Cassadaga Paranormal Encounters
For the first time in over a century, Cassadaga Florida, is opening it’s camp for a series of paranormal events, which include investigations. It would be interesting indeed to see what EVPs could be recorded during a séance.

11-11-11. Activities
11:00am: Meditation- Cost Donation- in Andrew Jackson Davis Building. Be there no later than 10:45am.
3:00 pm: Cassadaga History- Cost Free- Learn about the town, history, and meeting about the events.
8:00 pm: Transfiguration with Rev. Dr. Louis Gates- Cost $25.00- Please be there by 7:30 pm. We will start at
8:00 pm sharp. No one will be allowed in once it starts. Please be aware that once event starts the room is locked up so no one can come in or out. Please take care of all necessities prior to event starting. The medium will sit in what is called a cabinet with a dim red light on his face. His face takes the different faces of Spirit coming in. Sometimes the medium can channel in spirit completely in their body and allow them to have control. There are trumpets and bells in the room next to the medium. We sing to raise the vibration for spirit to come into the protected room. Sometimes if the vibration is raised high enough trumpets could rise up, bells could ring, and manifestations or apportations could appear. Equipment allowed for this event is EVP’s, and anything that has a dim red light on it.
All equipment has to be shown prior to using it so it could be approved. There could be no white light used for this event. This includes all cell phones must be off not on vibrate. White light could be dangerous to the medium while he is in trance due to the ectoplasm created. Cameras could be used prior to the event starting and after the medium comes out of trance and gives the okay to take pictures. As always in Cassadaga you are welcomed to check the room out prior to event starting to ensure no fraudulent activity is taking place.
10:30 pm: Table Tipping Séance- Cost $75.00- Please arrive at 10:00 pm sharp. The event will start at 10:30 pm. No one will be allowed in after. Please be aware that once event starts the room is locked up so no one can come in or out. Please take care of all necessities prior to event starting. This event will take us back to how the old time mediums used to talk to Spirit. We use a large, very heavy, all wood table with 3 to 4 legs on it. The people involved around the table will place just their finger tips on top of the table. No one will be allowed to grab onto the table, just place their fingertips on top. We sing to raise the vibration for Spirit to come into the protected room. As Spirit comes in you usually will feel a unique vibration in the table telling you that Spirit is here. Usually then after the table will start to rock back and forth. We will go around the table and you will ask Spirit as individuals if they are here for you. If it is a yes the table will usually rock back and forth. If they are not here for you the table will usually stand still. If you are the chosen one at that time that Spirit is here for, you could then ask questions to verify who they are. Examples are loved ones or friends you have in Spirit. They could only be yes or no questions asked usually. After an individual is done talking, the table will usually stop rocking and we start again with raising the vibration. There will be bells, and trumpets in the room for possible manifestation to occur. There will be more than one séance going at the same time. So the rooms will be synced to let everyone know when it is 11:11 pm. Equipment allowed for this event is EVP’s, video recorders with red light, and other equipment with red lighting. All equipment must be approved prior to event. As always in Cassadaga you are welcomed to check the room out prior to event to ensure no fraudulent activity is taking place.
12:30am to 2:30am: Summerland House Investigation- Cost $50.00- Ever wanted the chance to check out the activity that happens in a Cassadaga house? Now is your chance! The Summerland house was built in 1926. It is where the office is located for the SCSCMA. The office staff has reported many unusual occurrences of paranormal activities. From the usual strange noises, to a room becoming instantly cold, to objects being placed in one spot and moments later finding them moved to another. The most prominent is the upstairs room known as S-9. The room is now only used for the storage of old records due to the amount of mysterious happenings. One story is of a board member who went to spirit several years ago. He had the pet peeve of not wasting any paper, and didn’t believe in copying documents. Most camp records are duplicated and filed in two places. One in file cabinets, and the other in boxes that are now kept upstairs in S-9. Many times there has been a box of files knocked over and the contents spilled out all over the floor. The box and papers are picked up and put away and later another box is found knocked over again. Each time the box has some sort of paper work that mentions the deceased board member and boxes that don’t have him listed are never disturbed. There are many stories of Spirit in the Summerland house. Please come be our guest and investigate this house! Equipment allowed for this event is all equipment. Just please remember to be courteous to other groups involved in investigating. As always in Cassadaga you are welcomed to check the room out prior to event to ensure no fraudulent activity is taking place.
11-12-11. Activities
5:00pm: Dinner at the Cassadaga Hotel- There is going to be a special priced dinner at the hotel’s exclusive Italian Restaurant. Come meet and greet all the other groups staying in town and enjoy a
wonderful relaxing dinner together. Please reserve your spot today at the Cassadaga Hotel. 386-228-2323
6:30pm to 9:30pm- Night Tour of Cassadaga- Cost $50.00- Ever wanted an opportunity to explore all the camp hotspots with your equipment? Now is your chance! We will take you to different hotspots throughout the camp where you can investigate and use your equipment to see our numerous spirits and fairies outside. Some of the places you will visit are: The Buchannan Lot, Horseshoe Park (Fairy Park), Medicine Wheel Park, Spirit Pond, Colby Temple, Blackhawk Park, and Eloise Page Garden. This is a great opportunity to come and see what amazing images Spirit might allow you to capture! Equipment allowed for this event is all equipment. There will be outlets for plugging in at most locations. Please be courteous to other teams out there investigating too. We will have 10 to 30 minutes at each location approximately. As always in Cassadaga you are welcomed to check the room out prior to event to ensure no fraudulent activity is taking place.
10:00pm to Mid- Cassadaga Hotel Tour- Cost $25.00- Ever wanted to investigate the Cassadaga Hotel? Now is your chance! There will be a guided tour through the hotel for your chance to investigate different hotspots throughout! Equipment is allowed, please ask the hotel which equipment they will be allowing for this event. Please book this event through the Cassadaga Hotel at 386-228-2323.
