Lady Gaga whose real name is Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta isn’t just recording remixes of the classic Ghostbusters theme these days. She has turned into a ghost hunter herself. The twenty four year old singer reportedly believes that there are some malevolent spirits vexing her. An Arizona based ghost hunters organization was called by one of her aids regarding the purchase of electronic equipment used by paranormal investigators.
Lady Gaga purchased five thousand dollars worth of gadgets such as Electro-Magnetic Field meters to carry out a “spirit-seeking sweep.” Investigator Dan Webb told the Daily Mirror that his group received a request just before her Monster Ball tour arrived at the O2 arena in London. Her staff was instructed to seek out any spirits that may be lurking at the arena before she took the stage. She requested durable equipment and the belief is that she is taking the purchased ghost busting kit with her wherever she goes to search out any ghostly presence before her shows.
Mr. Webb was reportedly surprised by exactly who was requesting the paranormal assistance. Lady Gaga certainly would not be the first celebrity to come forward with the belief that they are being haunted by a spirit or negative energy. Actors Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves ,Neve Campbell, Jean Claude Van Damme and singers Sting , Bryan Adams, Belinda Carlisle, Liam Gallagher and Paul McCartney just to name a few have all reportedly had ghostly encounters.
